Jose R. Uribe

Jose is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and went on to receive his Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism from Ball State University in 2020. Jose has worked in the field of ABA with children with autism since 2016, with experience in clinic, home, and school-based services and a strong focus on Naturalistic Environment Teaching (NET) and Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT). He has been part of the Promise Center for Autism team since October 2016.

As the Culture and Connections Director, Jose focuses on strengthening team culture, fostering connection, and supporting professional growth across the clinical team while helping ensure that Promise’s values of compassion, creativity, and collaboration are reflected in our daily work.

As a clinical supervisor, Jose oversees a caseload of clients receiving ABA services, supervises staff working directly with clients, conducts initial assessments, creates and updates treatment plans, and provides collaborative coaching to parents and school staff. Jose lives in San Antonio and enjoys running, cycling, and visiting his family in Laredo.
